Since 2014 Paris is undergoing major constructions to improve the transport network. The rapid growth of the metropole, the need to increase the connectivity between the historical centre and the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games are catalysing the works. Thanks to the prolongation of metro line 14, by 2024 you’ll be able to reach Paris from Orly airport in 16 minutes.

The Pantheon is one of remarkable 18th century buildings now hosting a mausoleum of achieved French figures. It’s located on a hill of Sainte-Geneviève (she’s the patron of Paris city). The location is very historic and the hill is called upon the saint patron of the city because previously it hosted an abbey in her name.

Studio 28
Hitchock: from the 20s to 60s
Studio 28 is a historical cinema situated in Monmartre. Recently, I found the list of excellent movies on a poster on the wall of the cinema. First, I didn't notice that it was a selection of Hitchcock's filmography but then I found it very instructive as a "To Watch" list.
Le Nouvel Odeon
A hidden one screen cinema situated in a narrow street exiting the busy boulevard Saint-Germain. Before becoming a cinema, it was a mansion, later a shop of chirurgical instruments. First time inaugurated in 1965, the cinema ran under the name of Le Racine Odéon. In the need of renovation, it has changed owners and reopened in 2010 after extensive works of modernisation.
